Thank you for taking the time to stop by and learn a little more about Fox & the Robin.

Crafting has always been a passion of mine. Usually it starts as "Oh, I really like that!" and me rushing home to try and put a twist on it for my own satisfaction of making something new.

I started selling the items I made solely through word of mouth and for my family and friends. When their wrists and necks were full, but my love for creating wasn't, I decided maybe it was time to share my love with all of you.

There's something special about repurposing a vintage item for a new, wearable piece. I try to do so for everything I make, whether that be a button, key or maybe even a bullet casing. I like the idea of a vintage find already having a story behind it. Then I come in and make it into something else, allowing it to continue it's journey through life with a new story to tell.

My first set of keys came from a collection my aunt had. She had collected them over years and my grandma found them in her old workshop. I wanted to make something extra special with these keys that she passed down to me.

Each of these keys had once opened something different. To keep this mysterious way about them, I hand stamped messages onto the front of each of them. Just as each unique key unlocked a different door, I thought the hand stamped messages would speak to and unlock feelings for some people and not others. This is how you'd know this key belonged with you or perhaps someone you know who may need this message.
